I’m truly grateful for working in the advertising industry.
Besides teaming up with some of the most interesting and creative people on the planet it allowed me to do things I’ve never dreamed of: reveal the Tooth Fairy's address to build the world’s largest collection of teeth for scientific studies, create a new prototype of podium that encourages athletes to improve their performance, restore hundreds of soccer courts in unprivileged neighbourhoods to harvest a new generation of players, take the Soccer World Cup from capitals' stadiums to dozens of Brazilian country towns, make it snow in a 104°F Rio de Janeiro and - best of all - witness dozens of explosions and flipping cars.
That's what I've being doing for more than 17 years now. I'm proud to say my work has been awarded multiple times at all major festivals, such as Cannes Lions, Effie, D&AD, One Show, amongst others (full list below).
It all started on my bachelor's senior year when I won two students’ awards. One of them got me a job at FCB São Paulo where I spent my days thinking for Nivea, Fiat, BMS and won my first pitches and professional awards. After 5 years I was craving for some international experience and joined FCB London. Then I came back to Brazil to work for Citroën at Havas. From there I went to JWT as one the creative leads on the Ford account, where I fathered some of the brand's most relevant work till this day. Then I packed my stuff for a 5-years period at AfricaDDB working for Budweiser, Brahma Beer, Mitsubishi, Telefónica, Itaú, and ESPN, creating some of the agency's most significant and awarded work at that time.
After that I was invited to join VML&YR São Paulo. After 2 years, a period in witch I contributed to make VMLY&R São Paulo Latam’s 3rd most awarded agency of the decade at Cannes, I took the CD role for Grupo Petrópolis — Latin America's second largest beer company. After it, I got to creative lead Uber Eats, Braskem and Habib's (Brazil's largest fast food chain). Then, the CD role for Perfetti van Melle (Mentos, Fruittella and Chupa Chups), Greenpeace, Nespresso, Bridgestone, Firestone, Dell and Universal Films accounts. Phew…
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I teamed up with network offices on global pitches, nailing Zespri Kiwi with VMLY&R Singapore, Colgate's COVID Recovery campaign with Red Fuse NY, and FIFA's anti Racism tagline with VMLY&R Portugal. And, on 2022, I was the creative lead behind “Los Santos +3•”, a project for Greenpeace that made VMLY&R São Paulo the Entertainment Agency of the year.
And on mid 2023 I was invited to join Studio X to oversee the work for Coca-Cola as General Creative Director for LATAM.
